Description : 

  If you wake up in the morning and don't have a cup of tea, how can you start the day with a drink?  And in winter there is no such thing.  In the cold of Kolkata, the habit of sitting on the balcony with a steaming cup of tea and glancing at the newspaper is also a Bengali tradition.   If the taste of this tea can be taken sitting on the terrace of a tea garden shelter sitting comfortably on a sheet?  And the context where the original pair Kanchenjunga but how?  That tea is the world famous Darjeeling tea.  Sixteen bananas are full of what else.  And to fulfill these sixteen bananas, you have to come to this Mim tea garden.

   This tea garden is located near Majua between Jorbanglo and Sukhiipokhari in Darjeeling district. The journey of this tea garden began in the middle of the 18th century.  Then the British period.  The owner of the tea garden was a woman.  Everyone called her Mam.  The name of the tea garden is Myam Ki Than (Tea Garden).  Later, this meme was corrupted to become meme.  The garden has become Mim T Garden.  At present, the only government-owned tea garden in Darjeeling district is the Mim tea garden, which is managed by the Andrew Yule Company, a government agency.  But to see the combination of green tea garden, blue sky and white Kanchenjunga you have to come to this tea garden.

Where to Stay :

British mum has heritage bungalows for accommodation.  There is Andrew Yule's Tea Retreat.  But we will be in the best part of the garden.  At Forest Homestay.  Homestay and hotel feel together.  The dining hall is at the beginning of the homestay.  You will be overwhelmed as soon as you enter here.  Food arrangement in Nepalese style.  Seating arrangement on the ground and low height table in front.  Carpet laying, smell of incense and washing, recitation of Buddhist hymns all in one wonderful atmosphere.  Two-bed, four-bed and six-bed guest houses offer views of Kanchenjunga and tea gardens.  There are also private cottages.  They also have two beds and three beds.

How to Reach :

Located at an altitude of 5000 feet, this tea garden is approximately 75 to 80 km from Siliguri or NJP.  You can go directly to the reserve car.  Mirik Gopaldhara border Lepchajagat sleep on the road leading to Darjeeling, 21 km from Darjeeling, Mim Cha Bagan, passing Sukhia.  You can come by booking a car, those who want to come by share car can take any Darjeeling bound bus or share jeep from Siliguri bus stand or take a share car going to Sukhiyapokhri from in front of Siliguri Bishal cinema and reserve car.

Local Sightseeing :

 From here you can visit Majua Village, Border View Point, Gopaldhara Tea Garden, Mirik Lake, Jorpokhri, Chataidhura Hawaghar View Point, Chamong Chiabari Tea Garden, Chunnu Summer Waterfalls etc. belonging to Singalila National Park.  On the other hand, you can go to the sightseeing places of Darjeeling including Lepchajagat.  You can also visit the beautiful tourist centers like Takda, Tinchule, Lamhatta.

Expenses :

Rs. 3500 to 4500 by reserve car from Siliguri, NJP or Bagdogra. Rs. 1800 or 2200 from Darjeeling.  Darjeeling-bound Jorbungalow Rs. 150 and shared car Rs. 250 to 350.  Sukhiyapokhri Rs. 250 to 300 from Vishal cinema. In both cases, the reserve car is roughly Rs. 1200.

The cost of stay and meals at the homestay is Rs. 1750 per person per day.  However, if there are two days, one day of mutton is given. The cost of sightseeing in all cases is approximately Rs. 3000 to 4000.

 Car rental varies by season, off-season, population and detours due to natural disasters or road closures.

Best Time to Visit :

People of any age can come here at any time of the year as there is no high incidence of hot or cold. Especially in the rainy season, its form is indescribable.
