Bengali's spiritual relationship with tea is eternal.  And if it is Darjeeling tea then there is no question.  Not only in Bengali or India, the whole world is enchanted by this Darjeeling tea.  How about a steaming cup of Darjeeling tea sitting inside the tea garden and sipping it while enjoying the beauty of the tea garden?  You have to come to this colorful tea garden to make this latent desire come true.  You must come to this little-known mine of beauty to experience the mesmerizing look of the small town with the well-known Takda cantonment and the tea plantations that are bathed in the light of the Tinchul campaign.  Belonging to the Karshiang subdivision of Darjeeling district, this tea garden is located at an altitude of 4500 to 5000 feet above the ground.  People of any age can come here at any time of the year as there is no high incidence of hot or cold. Especially in the rainy season, its form is indescribable.

Where to Stay :

Although there are few homestays around, the best place to stay here is T Bungalow.  Located right in the middle of a tea garden, staying in this bungalow literally gives you the feeling of being in a tea garden.  On the ground floor are kitchen, dining room, drawing room and above round balcony next to the manure room.  Four in right hand and four in left hand.  Beautiful tea garden facing chat room in front.  The price of the rooms at the very front of the two rows is a little higher.  Because the houses are a little bigger and the tea gardens are visible all around. The rest of the houses are almost equal in terms of size and visibility.  Campfire area and seating area in front.  In short, like a picture

How to Reach :

It is best to reach Rangli tea garden directly from Siliguri or NJP.  In addition to Gangtok or Kalimpong Gami by any bus or share jeep, 27 miles down from there is Rangli tea plantation in reserve gorge.  Also Darjeeling Gumi bus or share car from Jorbanglo 6 miles to Rangli tea garden.

Local Sightseeing :

Nearby attractions include Takda Orchid Nursery, Tinchule View Point, Century Ancient Hanging Bridge, Peshak Tea Garden, Lamhatta Park, Triveni View Point etc.  And since it is only 22 km away from Darjeeling, many people also come from Darjeeling.

Expenses :

Rs. 3000 to 3500 taka in reserve car from Siliguri/ NJP. Rs. 2200 from Darjeeling and Rs. 2000 from Jorbanglo. Sightseeing costs around Rs. 3000 towards Takda, Tinchule, Lamhatta and Rs. 3500 towards Darjeeling.

 In the homestay, the big front view rooms are Rs. 3999 and the rest are Rs. 2999.  Food cost is 600 rupees per person.  Of course, you can also order according to the menu.

Best Time to Visit :

People of any age can come here at any time of the year as there is no high incidence of hot or cold. Especially in the rainy season, its form is indescribable.
